Our Story
It all began with a vision that breathed life from God, co-designing with Him to revive the essence of Honor. The first time I started sewing was born out of desperate necessity. As a brand-new mom at age 18, I was eager to work but had no babysitter. As a young mom, I was in love with my new baby, facing no experience, no job, and no money to buy newborn crib sets, I cried out to God for help. In one of those miracle moments, my husband received a bonus. He bought me my first sewing machine and the journey of self-taught sewing classes began. Fabrics back in the late '80s were affordable and of good size; I used to go to local stores studying crib sets and baby clothing inside out. I remember people passing by looking puzzled, but that became my class and gave me an eye to see everything from a different perspective. On every occasion, I made crib sets, dresses, and curtains. Also, I began creating matching outfits for the family. Shortly after, I started getting noticed and receiving compliments at church and various gatherings. I was grateful for God's grace and mercy, helping me through those tough years. Fast forward, I rarely sewed until I became a grandmother. History repeated when my first-born daughter couldn't find a particular crib set for her baby. Instantly, I felt compelled to find the fabric and make it. This was an honorable moment in my life. I thought that was the end of my sewing era, until the summer of 2022 when I had a vision from God. God spoke with specific breathtaking details of His heart's desires to impact the clothing industry with space to honor those whom he desires to honor.
